NARRATIVE OF THE POSSIBLE

Adelaide Convention Centre
North Terrace, Adelaide
9th—12th July, 2009

THE CONFERENCE
Educators from Reggio Emilia and Australia will explore what it means
to have a strong and positive image of children and to advocate for their
rights both as citizens and in realising their potentials—their right to
childhood, the time to be a child, the right to now.
Key note speakers from Reggio Emilia: Tiziana Filippini, pedagogista,
and Ivana Soncini, psychologist, and Coordinator for Inclusion of
Children with Special Rights

THE EXHIBITION
The traveling exhibition from Reggio Emilia, The Hundred Languages
of Children provides a beautiful and intriguing display of children’s
theories illustrated through words, paintings, drawings and sculptures
that make visible their potential as scientists, inventors, authors and
artists. The exhibition demonstrates that children are endlessly curious
and full of wonder and joy as they actively make connections and attempt
to understand their world.
